		Eerste Aluforce Drum-snare met UCS naar Daniel Dijkstra in Sneek
		Daniel Dijkstra , vaste klant bij Vancore Percussion Instruments, bestelde afgelopen november zijn custom made Vancore – Aluforce drum-snare. Naar eigen smaak samengesteld in zowel kleur- , vellen- als, mechaniek keus en het aantal keren spanbaar. Daniel koos voor 14 x 6,5 inch Aluforce Standard. Een 10 keer spanbare snaredrum in de finish “Antique Hammered Silver “ voorzien van de UCS (Ultimate Comfort Strainer). Dat laatste is bijzonder voor een drum-snare , Daniel Dijkstra zegt er het volgende over: “de strainer opent een hele nieuwe dimensie achter de drumkit, sneller schakelen is echt ideaal, zelfs voor breakjes tussen de ritmes door kan je hem makkelijk heen en weer schakelen”. Dit is dan ook precies waar het bij dit mechaniek allemaal om draait; Comfort. Het mechaniek is voorzien van kabelsnaren in plaats van de reguliere gedraaide snappy snares, wat een totaal andere sound en definitie creëert dan normaal:  Jonge, dat ding snijd overal doorheen. Origineel geluidje, veel stembereik en breed inzetbaar. Ik heb hem zowel in metal  muziek en rock al gebruikt. ’t Klinkt erg goed en het is een in het oogspringend instrumentje, zo heb ik gemerkt van de muzikanten die mij omringen. Hij is ook heerlijk om gewoon marching stukken op te spelen (uiteraard!) , aldus Daniel. De finish was een lang gekoesterde wens van Daniel en hij presenteert dan ook met trots zijn nieuwe aanwinst : Het is een in het oogspringend instrumentje,  Ik voorzie nog jaren speelgenot met dit ding. Daniel Dijkstra, for years now a true customer at Vancore Percussion Instruments, ordered last November his custom made Vancore –Aluforce drum-snare. Totally made after his own wishes in the finish “Antique Hammered Silver “ with the new UCS (Ultimate Comfort Strainer). This UCS strainer is unique and special to this snaredrum , Daniel says the following about it :  “The Strainer opens a whole new dimension behind the drumkit , switching fast is ideal , even for small breaks between the rhythms you can easily switch from sound , snares on or off!!”  This is exactly what this mechanism is all about; Comfort. The mechanism has ten cable wires instead of the regular snappy steel wires what gives the drum a totally different new sound:  “Wow , that snare cuts through everything. Original sound , with a lots of projection and useful for lot’s off styles. I used it already in my Rock/metal music. Sounds perfect and the drum really is an eye-catcher. College musicians are asking a lot about it. The drum is also very useful to play some marching pieces on (Logic !, it’s a Vancore)” , says Daniel     The finish was a long time wish from Daniel and that’s also why he proudly presents his new snare!
		PERSBERICHT: Vancore Percussion Instruments BV bouwt mee aan toekomst K&G
		14 december 2008 JOURE / LEIDEN - Vancore Percussion Instruments BV Joure en de Christelijke Muziekvereniging Kunst en Genoegen (K&G) uit Leiden, hebben een samenwerkingsovereenkomst voor de komende jaren afgesloten. Dit was een grote verrassing voor de leden van het Leidse korps, dat zondag op het door de Stichting Vrienden van K&G georganiseerde benefietconcert optrad. Ontwikkeling Ruim voordat K&G in financieel zwaar weer terecht kwam, was Vancore in samenwerking met het kader en het bestuur van K&G op zoek naar nieuwe mogelijkheden voor de toekomst. Aspecten als technische innovatie, klankkleur, uiterlijk, etc.  stonden centraal en werden bepalend voor een passend slagwerkinstrumentarium voor deze vereniging. Het resultaat was dat na maanden van gesprekken, testen en ontwikkelen met kader en slagwerkers van K&G, een goed passend Nederlands slagwerkinstrument is gerealiseerd.  Het voornemen van K&G was om hiermee eind 2008 / begin 2009 het huidige slagwerkinstrumentarium te vervangen.   Financiële crisis Na de financiële problematiek voor de vereniging die zich na de zomervakantie van 2008 openbaarde, kreeg het project een totaal andere wending. Daar waar beide partijen dachten de ontwikkeling te kunnen bekronen met de aanschaf van nieuw slagwerk, bleek dat K&G de komende jaren geen geld had voor grote investeringen. De contacten tussen Vancore en K&G werden echter, ondanks de problematiek, intensief voortgezet en onderhouden.  K &G en Vancore Percussion Instruments BV zijn eind november weer in gesprek gegaan met een duidelijk perspectief en doelstelling: een samenwerking aangaan zonder financiële middelen. De uitkomst is een overeenkomst tussen beide partijen op basis van prestatie en tegenprestatie zonder financiële consequenties en met een mogelijke uitbreiding voor de andere K&G orkesten in de nabije toekomst. Vancore Percussion Instruments BV stelt de Show- and Marchingband  K&G uit Leiden een volledige bezetting nieuwe slagwerkinstrumenten ter beschikking op basis van een bruikleenovereenkomst voor een periode van vier jaar. Motivatie De motivatie voor Vancore om deze samenwerking gestalte te geven komt voort uit de waardering die het bedrijf heeft voor het doorzettingsvermogen van de vereniging. Ondanks forse tegenwind continueert K&G haar kwaliteit, uitstraling en eindeloze inzet voor de showband wereld in algemene zin. De Christelijke Muziekvereniging Kunst en Genoegen zal als tegenprestatie het merk Vancore en het Nederlandse slagwerkproduct in de vorm van communicatie, PR en diensten gaan ondersteunen. K&G gaat dit gestalte geven d.m.v. demonstraties, promotionele activiteiten, reclame-uitingen, kennisverstrekking etc. Ook het kader van de vereniging zal hier haar steentje aan bijdragen. Motivatie van de vereniging is dat zij vertrouwen heeft in het Nederlandse product Vancore en graag een intensieve samenwerking met het bedrijf wil starten. Wederzijds vertrouwen en respect waren de ingrediënten die tot het sluiten van deze overeenkomst hebben geleid. Vancore Percussion Instruments BV en de Christelijke Muziekvereniging Kunst en Genoegen uit Leiden hebben alle vertrouwen uitgesproken over de toekomstige samenwerking.
		David Lemant - First official Vancore Marching Individual Endorser!
		Saturday 18 th of October on the Individuels and Ensembles in Eemnes The Netherlands , Vancore Percussion Instruments will present his first official Individuel Marching Endorser. Nobody less than David Lemant, Center-Snareplayer for Showband Unik Star France , signed a contract for 4 years of endorsership with the our company. David, who did earlier some demonstration for Vancore, came into the picture because of his technical and Musical knowledge and performance. The trickbox he opens with his performance as an extra show, made Vancore Percussion Instruments see him as a perfect representative for the Dutch Marching Instruments line. The signing of the contract took place at Vancore 2008 4 Octobre, David travelled especially for this occasion from France to Joure, The Netherlands. Just to show a part off his new performance and to collect his new snaredrum out of hands from salesmanager M.van der Kolk. After this performance the contract for 4 years was signed by both, which banded David Lemant and Vancore Percussion Instruments BV for the next 4 years. David chose for a snaredrums out of the “Aluforce Ultimate Tension Series“. The 14 x 12 inch snaredrum has a chrome plated finish on the cage , and a “ Brushed Purple Violet “ finish on the Aluminium shell. There are two Snarestrainers attached to the drum: Our new TO- Throw-off Strainer for the bottomhead and the TS-Top Strainer for the tophead.

		To complete the lately introduced ALU-Force Series, Vancore Percussion Instrument bv is proud to announce  the Aluforce Freefloating Snaredrum (AFS). According the specifications; ultra light aluminium shells, reduced weight and the new Throw Off strainer, the instrument is the perfect choice for your Corps style percussion ensemble scene.
		Throw off In this series we did choose for a very sturdy throw-off snarestrainer with an optimum of operational confort. A universal strainer, which also can be applied on Vancores regular UTS-series. Together with the entirely adjustable topstrainer this is what we call “the perfect match“
		Aluforce shells As an ultimate weight saving we did choose for an aluminium shell. The aluminum shell stands for an optimum of projection and even a more cryspy sound! 		The ultimate Free Floating Concept
		Together with staff members and percussion instructors we designed the lightest hightension snaredrum ever made. Our modular X-Airdrum System gave us the opportunity to create an high tension snaredrum of only 3.6 kg.
		Integrated Adaptor System - To avoid extra costs adding an adjustable adaptor system Vancore designed and integrated the adaptor in the castings. The carryingsystem is extremely durable and can be totally adjusted. Snaredrum Strainers - To realize an optimum in tuning this instrument, we deliver the drums equiped with two different snaredrum strainers to choose from. Shell Construction - The shell is made out of a combination of beechwood an occumee. the shell has a very sturdy 'click on' system. If you want to play without any shell Strainers TS Strainer - This strainer can be switched in a 'snare off' position. On top of that both snare tension and snare height are specificly adjustable. The result is a very accurate snare tuning. FS Strainer - This strainer is a fixed version and the snares can not be swiched in a 'snares off' position. The tension of the snares is fully adjustable. Models The UFS Vortex snaredrum can be delivered in both 13" and 14" version equiped with different strainers according the model numbers.
